INSTRUMENT LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

Note: ALL DOUBLE BASSES ARE COVERED FOR 5 YEARS.

Andrew's Fine Violins carries student, advanced as well as professional instruments.

All instruments purchased at AFV come with a lifetime, non-transferable warranty, meaning as long as you own your instrument you are covered. All double basses are covered for 5 years. Warranty is void if any repair or attempt to repair the instrument has been made by the customer or by an unauthorized repair person. Instrument adjustment is not covered by this warranty. All consignment instruments are covered for 1 year.

WHAT'S COVERED FOR LIFE

1. Cracks related to abnormal shrinkage, not to negligence or accident.

2. All glue joints.

3. Open seams.

4. Sound post adjustment.

WHAT'S COVERED FOR ONE YEAR

1. All fittings, hardware and accessories (pegs, end button tailpiece, chinrest, fine tuner).

2. Bridge- warping and breakage.

3. Varnish- normal wear touch up.

WHAT'S NOT COVERED

1. Strings.

2. Damage caused by neglect or misuse of instrument. Please note

 that exposure to excessive heat, cold, dryness or moisture is considered neglect.

3. Normal wear and tear caused by regular use.

4. Broken necks.

BOW 1 YEAR WARRANTY

One year warranty applies only to original purchaser of bow. Warranty is void if any repair or attempt to repair the bow has been made by the customer or by an unauthorized repair person. Damage caused by neglect or misuse of bows is not covered. Damage caused by normal wear is not covered. Original hair installation is covered for a period of three months.

TRUE TRADE-IN POLICY

Andrew's Fine Violins offers a true trade-in program to customers who purchased an instrument in our shop. We guarantee up to 100% trade-in value for the instrument purchased at our shop.

In order to receive 100% credit for traded instrument we require to meet two conditions :

1. Traded instrument must be in the same condition when it was purchased

( we reserve the right to void the trade in policy if instrument sustained a significant damage)

2. The purchase price of the new instrument must be of double value of the trading in instrument.

*** Note. if the price of the new instrument is less than the double value of the traded instrument 

then up to 75% may be applied. 

30 DAY GUARANTEE

Every instrument is covered by 30 DAY GUARANTEE, no hassle exchange 30 days from the date of purchase for instrument of the same value or higher. Exchanged instrument must be in the same condition when it was purchased. This policy excludes instruments purchased through rental program.
