OWNER: Andrzej Derkacz - head restorer

Andrzej began his instrument restoration journey in 1995 at Kolstein NY, known for their high quality workmanship and integrity. He spent time working and learning techniques of restoration and varnishing of string instruments under the supervision of Barrie Kolstein and Jacob Cralidis. His passion for restoration excelled while working at the String Shop of Arizona with Terrance McShaine. Andrzej saw the need for the new violin shop in the Phoenix metro area and in 2009 he and his father in-law Stanislaw Cebulski decided to open Andrew's Fine Violins.

Stanislaw worked with Andrzej Derkacz at

Kolstein and the String Shop of Arizona.

He greatly influenced the idea of opening our own

shop and actually made it all happen. With his high

working ethic, integrity and superior workmanship,

Stanislaw was giving all of us a great example to follow.

In 2017 he went on well deserved retirement and moved back to Poland where he enjoys pursuing his hobbies.
